Acquisition, Retention & Engagement Manager / WAZE – ref 002

As a member of our team you’ll become an expert in online marketing across networks. Your main focus will be driving installs, analyzing the traffic & optimizing for the best valued consumer. Additionally, our ideal candidate will strategize ways to achieve optimal levels of retention/ engagement and analyze user trends globally. The ideal candidate is someone organized and detail oriented, who welcomes challenges, is analytical minded and passionate about marketing & growth company-wide. Requires working well independently and in team settings.

Responsibilities: • Set up and optimize direct marketing (PPC) campaigns on various platforms. Create keywords/ targeting buckets, ad groups, account structure, and adapt based on performance, to drive the best results and maximize ROI. • Set CPI benchmarks for relevant markets based on analysis of performance metrics & user value. • Allocate budget by platform based on company needs. • Extract insights of user behavior by varying factors like geography, OS, and/or targeting buckets such as demographics or interests. • Maintain ongoing relationships with agencies. Deliver our expectations and strategy, oversee their work to ensure it meets said expectations and collaborate with the lead designer for approval of any deliverables supplied by external agencies. • Manage relationship with platform account managers. Keep an open line of communication with these platforms to receive feedback, insights & stay up-to-date with algorithm changes and best practices. • Determine & request creatives required for campaign testing purposes • Write ad copy and run ongoing tests to achieve optimal performance • Collaborate with multiple teams (both internal and external) to derive translations for keywords, ad copy, creatives, etc. • Interact with diverse technical and non-technical groups • Strategize solutions for tracking user behavior after install

Minimum Qualifications : • BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience • Self-motivated, self-managed, independent • Driven personality, goal oriented, team player • Strong communication skills and a data-driven analytical approach for solving complex challenges • Self-starter who is comfortable with a rapidly changing environment and a strong desire to learn

Preferred Qualifications • English mother tongue • Marketing/Business degree or relevant work experience • 2 - 3 years’ experience w/ proven track record in the tech world (specifically analytical experience) • Experience in analyzing retention/ engagement & user trends in-app
